Oh hey, good on you for responding.

I was only looking for the Nostr integration, not the bitcoin bit. I didn't manage to get just the Nostr integration going, or at least it wasn't obvious how to.

Which I suppose makes sense since Nostr is secondary to what Alby wants to do. I'd separate them out a bit more, so someone looking for just one or the other can still use it.

Hey, indeed - today your extension needs to be connected to some wallet to operate and use Nostr keys.

We recommend creating an getalby.com account (you can use your secondary e-mail) and connecting the extension to it. It might get super useful when you want to zap someone or use lightning apps on the web.

Then you can put your nsec into the extension (it stays on your machine, nor we nor clients can see it) and use Nostr seamlessly!

(Even more, we recommend connecting to self-custodial wallet/node, if possible)
