"Bitcoin is just speculation" - A very good friend

Well yeah, but so is every investment today. We are all forced to take on moderate to extreme risk to not be financially debased - to speculate. Bitcoin has potential risks: unfavorable laws, lack of long term adoption, scaling the next 100x users, etc.

But I still see it as much less risky long term than any other single thing
