The USD is worse that just fiat based on nothing. It is based on debt. Every dollar created is created from a dollar of debt that has to be paid back with interest so there is not enough money in existence to pay back the dollars and the interest, so all wealth is slowly transferred to the bankers through the interest on the debt that is owed.
