I agree, maybe Obama was right.
They use more truth when they are running against an opponent, Romney in this case. Then they ridicule their opponent when their opponent does what they said they were going to do on the campaign trail.
Think of the Tesla's and how the ANTIFA tweeks are now burning them. They were told they were going to save the planet during the democrat administrations but then the democrats and media are now calling them evil during the Trump administration.
The Federal Reserve and education system has spent a lot of time and money to keep the plebs uneducated about how to overthrow them.

Those people are telling you tariffs are bad are political motivated however economically speaking, in a free market prices go down and what the government did was take control of the free market to save one group of individuals who make tires at the expense of the even more individuals who drive cars. Also what he fails to mentions is the effects of controlling the market in one sector of an industry has on many other industries.
This is also one reason why other countries put tariffs on imports from the US... To protect domestic production.
