Seems to me like nostr is pretty directly on a path to replace Reddit. Upvotes, downvotes, channels are all already defined in the protocol
Agreed. Exciting times. Glad to be part of this environment at an early stage. I lack the technical knowledge of how this all works but I don’t seem to need much to get out what I need and it’s serving it’s purpose.
It may be a little difficult to read, but I got a lot of value just out of reading all of the implemented NIPs.
Not knowing how something works on the technical side should never be a barrier. A community is gathering around nostr to make the experience better for all.
How social media’s built is getting redefined. Hope to see many uniquely creative projects #BuiltOnNostr - beyond what we can imagine at the moment.
