I remember when court put him on house arrest in April for a criminal offense in Ukraine, justifying the RU invasion.
Now seems he tried to influence a witness:

And no, it's not a democracy, Ukraine is at war and under martial law, it's not a democracy.

Also Ukraine was not a democracy and engaging in said behavior before Russia invaded. In 2014 the US orchestrated a coup and over through a democratically elected government causing all this shit.

I am off the article and on to your comment about it is all okay "cuz muh martial law". Once you go there you are the one who has abandoned facts. When people make an excuse for the state under martial law, it really isn't about reality. It is total trust in a state. If you trust the Ukraine government you are clearly ill informed.
Once martial law is declared, you no longer have a functioning government or rule of law. You have a military dictatorship.
Maybe it’s because I was partially raised by my grandparents who were raised by people who lived through reconstruction but the idea of martial law under any circumstances has always bothered me.
Well you actually value freedom and you know it may not be "your side" in charge and have critical thinking skills. Only drones of the state are okay with martial law. Sadly there are a lot of drones.
These days. I shudder to think what 21 year old me would have said/done if my battalion was mobilized for martial law and the right justifications were provided.
