Try to think of it like a physical wallet of cash. Enough for you to pay for things while you’re out and about, but if you lost it, it wouldn’t ruin you.
I'd say an amount you're not comfortable with losing randomly overnight
just keep in mind phoenix wallet app (a self custodial lightning wallet app that acts as a lightning node on your phone) requires a minimum of 10k sats to first topup the wallet with and 3k sats will be deducted from that
