I just hosted a zoom meeting and someone sent an AI note taker to join in their place. That’s one of a few use cases where I think AI could be pretty handy.
…Assuming there aren’t massive privacy/security issues (voice printing etc) which I imagine there are. Or will be.
In any case I imagine we’ll all be seeing more of this. It was my first.

The person behind the bot said they didn't mean to send it. I guess she uses it for work stuff and somehow it latched onto our invite, too.
I asked for a copy of the notes and it was mostly just a transcript. Nothing too exciting.
I dumped it into ChatGPT and after THREE refreshes (first three were garbage and had nothing to do with the meeting) I got mostly OK notes I could use as a starting point.
OK, fine... I see limited utility here.

Annoyingly, ai note-taking seems to count as recording, which can be legally problematic.
