I am a paying user of nostr.wine and have a big questionmark on how to use the translate feature. Is it a new relay I have to use? Additional? Pay extra? Are there somewhere infos what I need to do if I want to use it?

Open for it but slightly confused 😀

The translation service is separate and is charged per character. It is only compatible with clients that support the LibreTranslate API (like Damus).

On https://translate.nostr.wine you can generate an API key and add credits. You can then use the API key to configure a custom LibreTranslate service in Damus settings. Once configured, you can click “translate” on any note or enable automatic translations back to your native language.
