In the 50s, young couples had children, could afford a home, a car, vacations, savings, … on a single income.
Now, despite decades of economic and technological advancement, the middle class struggles to attain even a modest standard of living with dual incomes and a heavy debt load.
Why the fuck??
Massive deflation in the real economy, massive inflation in the monetary system to keep it all afloat.
