APC and Cyberpower are fine. Don't believe their ratings for hold-up time, its only for peak delivery. Most can only supply a few hundred watts for a few or 10 minutes. They presume you use UPS software to safely bring down your PC while there is enough energy to do so. If you want hours of uptime, you still use UPS but only for bridging the time it takes to switch to a battery bank or a generator.

A 1500W to 2000W inverter generator with propane option is your best bet and least maintenance. Keep gasoline out of it until its your only economical option, propane doesn't gunk up carberators. If you ever put gasoline in it, when youre putting it away for storage drain the tank and carberator bowl completely or else it might not start the next time. If you intend to forget someday, make sure you have an extra carberator on hand; they are cheap.
