What would be the end solution then? To stop trying to be perfect and do things without putting attention to detail?

I believe it depends on the situation. There are a few variables. In the case I mentioned, it was a waste of time. Did the coffee maker really need that “performance”? Or was it just my whim?
My solution was to think like a business.🙃🙂
Who are my target customers? Is the deliver is appropriate for my target customer? Or am I overdelivering? And if I am overdelivering, is there a reason? By thinking like this, I try to rationalize my effort, as well as define my priorities.
Still, it’s hard for those who tend toward perfectionism. 😅
