This is incredibly unfortunate. It was good to see many in the progressive caucus go against this. There are many things I would disagree with Rep Omar on, but this isn’t one of them.

If there is a tie (from what I understand) any resolution or amendment does not proceed. So in this case it was a proposed amendment. Due to the tie, the amendment failed
