One of the issues I have with Lightning is a clear and present assistant to difficult problems arising when running a node.
Educators and node implementation software writers have done a great job. But what is lacking is local trust. Someone who can reliably hold a person’s hand through issues.
There are many nodes and miners who run to serve Bitcoin’s purposes who do not know how to handle some of these issues.
I had a chance to listen to the interview on my commute yesterday, and I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed it. Between Walker’s interview style, Ben’s optimistic mindset, and the humor throughout, it was great listening.
I thought you guys were being sarcastic here of Nostr when mentioning *NSYNC. But it was really a highlight of the episode to hear about Ben rollerblading to boy bands in the 90s and leaving negative reviews for rival a cappella groups.
This was my first time listening to The #Bitcoin Podcast, and I look forward to hearing more. Great job.
