I mean no old books or libraries were ever burned, right?!? We still have the whole catalogue, and publishers who had the means of production and distribution have always been full of integrity and good intentions. Right!?!?

Some lies can last centuries, especially when printed in a book.

The first volume of Das Kapital was published in 1867. Few books have done as much harm, it's up there with the books of the Abrahamic cults, which are also quite old...
