I’ve tried all morning to upload one using nostril.build. Think the file is too big

Download handbrake from fosshub.com (on a pc).

Drop the video file in & select the lowest quality YouTube preset & then check the settings. Save your customized settings for your next video.

I'd optimize for sound quality over pixels - you should be able to really get that size down.
