As a young woman, Mary received a visit from the Archangel Gabriel, who announced that she would conceive and bear a son, Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. Despite being a virgin, she accepted God's will with humility, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem and raised Him with Joseph, witnessing His ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection. After Jesus' ascension, she remained with the Apostles, awaiting the Holy Spirit.
