Older and with better health behind me, a walking cane is not out of place. I carry a cane with a 1060 high carbon steel double edged sword concealed inside. Quick to deploy and to the surprise of the bad guy. The weapon is already in the hand. The blade will shave hair, stiff and flexible like a good Rapier of old. In a skilled hand, a quick flick will open a belly or equally remove a hand as needed. In close combat the handgun is not king. It is the blade that never misses.

Over a 40 plus years career wearing a badge, I have used force, even deadly force where required to save innocent life, property, and maintain order.
