One of the main benefits of the Lightning Network is improved anonymity in bitcoin. If someone wants you to know they tipped you, they can. But I agree it would be nice to add the note ID for inline zapping. We’re calling it that now? ⚡️

I know it’s an unsolvable dilemma anyway. To zap without taking credit you have stay anonymous

I believe someone is working on a PR for Astral that adds the username and first few characters from the note in the invoice comment. The person providing the tip can always remove it. I like this because a removal is much faster and easier than asking the user to type all of this themselves.
