Hmmmm…so the same people who told you that healthcare premiums have to go up by an average of $1000/yr for 20 millions people because we just can’t afford the $20B cost.

Are now saying that, we absolute just NEED NEED NEED to create FIVE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS to add to an already ONE TRILLION DOLLAR defense budget.

And this is, of course, to “protect” America in the “unstable and uncertain global times” that they themselves are creating…

This is called a mafia protection racket where you are taxed / defrauded in order to “keep you safe” from a problem that the entity that is taxing you directly creates.

I guess it’s worth it if bitcoin number go up tho, huh?

Fair point. I am all for reducing our absurd federal “healthcare” spending, though I’m fairly certain that what we ever recently done doesn’t do that tho…

We’ve reduced our 1.6T Medicare/Medicaid bill by…20B?

While proposing to expand our defense spending from 1T to 1.5T.

As a citizen who understands that ALL of this spending to totally out of control, it still super feels like the government saying “Fuck you, make war”

Maybe feels that way, but really they’re saying “Fuck, we need to stimulate GDP growth to afford our 1.2 T interest payments and defense spending is the most obfuscated method of doing so without causing inflation and blowing up the bond market”
