Specifics would be hard without knowing them, but a general safe bit of advice would be to make a plan in advance on how to handle mother in laws. In our case, all 3 MILās were crazy makers and needed to be managed. They will want to ābe involvedā on many levels on your journey. Back your wife in front of your mother, discuss later if needed.

I would add that the united front is also super important in front of the kids. Of course itās important to show children how to deal with conflict within a marriage, but when it comes to dealing with children, supporting each other is important. Kids definitely know how to play one against the other so iron clad support is vital! š¬ (Iām the other half)
