It will likely get worse for a few more years but eventually I think things will get better. I wont be planning to go the cities for a while though, which is a bit of shame.

Yeah move to a village or better a hamlet out the way somewhere! Even in the good times towns and cities weren't too great. There could be better community round here (everyone is still grinding for fiat) but at least if you lose your phone or wallet, people will get it back to you.

Ultimately I'd like to run a market garden with workshops for courses.
Based on the makerspace model but aiming for the homeschool market.
Cabins/yurts/tents to double as accommodation and airbnb rentals.

If we have a proper crash things I think things will go rather well, people will leave and prices will crater as frankly the kind of deserve too. Either way anything priced in corn will drop. Next door is for sale at moment feel free to move in 😁
Unfortunately there is not a lot of space round here, bigger than most of the airstrip one rabbit hutches but not enough to do things I want to do. Might try to get the neighbours land off the housing association even just a bit more space can make all the difference to get people round to do things like press apples and make biochar.
I already had to VPN to view anything worth watching on there anyway, so I guess it'll keep working that way.

I do also wonder if the blatant lack of any kind of acknowledgement of suppression of speech and fabrication of vaccine stats by the government during covid was wrong, is to continue to push through shitshow totalitarian bullshit like this.
Because they obviously are still correct about everything and no one got harmed and we need to censor people because they are the people doing harm to people, you know because of herd immunity. Cant have people suggesting things to the contrary can we?
