That’s the dream. I think we need a clearer plan for how we will put it into practice. I think one of the key aspects is transparency. E.g. right now I would love to fairly reward the devs working on nostr and the clients I’m using. However, it’s very hard for me to know who that is. And the solution is not to zap those that are loudest on the platform.

Thinking about this a little more, you almost need some loose organization (e.g. all Damus devs) agreeing on and communicating their contributors’ approximate share in the platform over a given period of time. Zappers can then use that as a blueprint to distribute their payments.
