I opened it and it started showing the camera
I clicked to go live and accepted terms of service I'm not sure why
then the app lagged for 10 seconds and said it was streaming and the camera became all black

Oh dear that doesn't sound good. Are you able to say what handset your using?
It would be frustrating as we've just released this but the inference is that our work to reduce resolution for lower bandwidth may be incompatible with some handsets.
If you wanted to be an utter legend would you be able to try v0.5.1 from prior to this change, and see if it does the same?
