I’m biased here as I love iOS, but agree with your point. Too bad we don’t have something open source that is actually good and not owned by a big corporation

What are you doing that you think can't be reasonably done on Linux?

Oh I was taking about iOS in the mobile space, at least personally don’t think Android is a replacement. I saw a while back a new phone with e-ink which looked amazing but it was android so not really impressive

You , the one with a really long name , I like your name 😁

You need to set up wallet though ..

I am also very biased sometimes

I would love for something to give another 5 years of life to my iPhone 13; community supported, open source that would get me out of Apple ecosystem but don’t know about anything that could be used

My sister was using my iPhone 7 until I got her a 15 Pro last year. Your iPhone 13 will last until 2030.

I hope so! I’m thinking of getting a new battery though

Its called Linux and graphene os.....

I need to look into this! Thanks!🙏

Can Graphene work for someone like my mother with zero configuration or programming skills? If not, it unfortunately will never have widespread adoption

Yes, it's identical to android, just has additional privacy controls for advanced users.

Ok thank you. I will likely give it a try soon

Graphene is android, and android is absolute garbage if you want to do anything complex. We need a FOSS alternative to android that has root access default.
