I wish I shared your optimism. I frequent a blue city that still has a significant number of people that still wear masks. I want to think people would respond more defiantly if the state attempted this again. I think at some point we will see.
I live in rural Texas outside of Dallas where at least half the people were done by June 2020.

Excellent... I keep hearing it's turning purple from all the Californians that have soiled their bed and moved their politics there. I'm hopeful the country has reached peak woke and is ready for healing.
that's what we were afraid of, but as it turns out, they've already moved to blue areas and have had little impact.
