Competition is good. In the end, when the shackles of nuclear power are removed, it will win over hydrocarbons in terms of electricity generation.

Hydrocarbons will continue to rule while the Unreliables continue to run against the wall of physics and economics.

I'm for an all-the-above strategy. Oil and gas are still plentiful, cheap, and abudant. Nuclear is another tech in the toolkit. Cheap energy for all.
