There is also a movie of Fountainhead (1949)

The moment it defined Peter Keating as “selfish” I thought to myself Ayn Rand should have been disagreed with that definition :)

Yes the movie is superficial. But the definition of the selfish depends. (especially for my country)

Selfish: A person who prioritizes themselves. (Howard)

Selfish: Ignorant, narrow-minded etc. (Peter)

There are flaws in the film, but you should watch it.

Yeah the way Ayn Rand use “selfish” also crates lots of confusion in my opinion but that’s her choice. Nevertheless I didn’t even know that movie existed. But it seems I would enjoy watching it. The book also hits differently with today’s environment. When I was reading the part of Ellsworth Toohey, I was surprised by her insight what she was trying to warn us about to be watchful.
