2 things I'm still confused about to this day, living in the US:
1. Rock, paper, scissors...(wait for the extra word) SHOOT ???? Mokay.
2. Countdown: 3, 2, GO! (where's the one?)
Is it just me? Am I missing something here or it's just cultural?

And what about the thing of hitting the hand against the palm? Usually you are in "fighting position" with your hand behind your back, and you throw one of the 3 like your life depends on it.
