I hate seeing posts from Mastodon (or any other protocol) on nostr.

stop reading from relay.nostr.band that's where those notes come from.

I then removed every relay aside from damus and i still see them.

Seems like relays are copying from each other without regard if its from nostr or not.

Yes, some clients are very persistent try clean the cache while removing those relays that read from there. Amethyst works great for that.

I'm not entirely sure what these instances think they are doing with Nostr. Decentralization? If that's the case, why not come here? It seems like they just want Nostr as a backup for their messages, but if any of those instances fail, doesn't the entire context die along with it? Feels like the ordinals of Nostr lol
