Will is the more important question. You'd have to convince everyone to use it for it to replace current email. Or somehow have a bridge between the two. I don't see that happening any time soon.

I’ve looked into GPG for email encryption and privacy, hosting my own email server and such.
Discovering Nostr and encryption at its core. I was just wondering if DM is also encrypted. Seems very decentralized too.
If there was mass adoption. communication could be confidential again.
