Yesterday, Trump said that trade talks with China were going well and that he was being “kind” to the Chinese so that the tariffs he raised could eventually be lowered.
Today, however, China publicly denied the claim, stating that it’s a lie and that there are no ongoing talks or negotiations with the U.S.
