Lately, it seems all I do with nostr is open a client app, scroll a bit, see people saying the same bs they said before, mute a couple people, and close the app again 😭

I've never been good at it. I'm only clever and quippy in real life. I use Nostr because I want to be, even virtually, around other Bitcoiners. If I started to over think it, I'd lose my private key like I deleted Facebook 10 years ago 😂
I use nostr because I got tired of twitter, but it feels like more of the same, sometimes.
I don't know much about Twitter, but I can imagine. No matter how hard we try, social media of any kind can't replace hanging out with people in real life. I'm grateful I've learned of people like yourself that are contributing to the circular economy. Until that changes, Nostr is worth it imo.

Nostr may be many things includiing more freedom of speech, decentralizing the social network, etc. But one thing it is not is a cure for stupidity
Everything's just boring anymore. People going on and on about the price of bitcoin, people that still think whoever they voted for is going to change things, people who think they're better and telling each other to go touch grass, etc., all the same crapola lol.
I get ya. The 'who you voted for' thing gets me. I would figure anyone who was into Bitcoin deep enough would at some point realize no politician is ever working for anyone's good but their own.

I'm just the village idiot/crank. I say unpopular things out of ignorance. I break stuff. I find broken stuff. All of my setups for hardware and software are atypical. So, I tend to be an excellent beta tester. So, I think my usefulness tempers tolerance towards my titanic tonnage of testiness. 🤣🤣🤣
