Thought experiment: You are fed up with your country and planning to permanently leave. The only thing you plan to bring with you is the clothes on your back and a seed phrase in your brain.

Would you take on a bunch of credit card debt and loans (with no intention to pay it back) to buy as much bitcoin as possible? How much bitcoin do you think you could aquire in this manner?

I just came to this weird realization that we live in the time of a perfect money that can move across boarders in your brain... while we also all have the ability to aquire a massive amount of debt, then flee.

I love the US and I'm rooting for it as a country to handle this process well. I have no intention of doing anything remotely like this.

But you've gotta think that some savvy plebs will take advantage of this incentive. Especially the more clear it becomes the dollar is failing.

Another way to think of this is, both physical and virtual economic communities that embrace bitcoin and lightning will see growth through frictionless trade and commerce, while other will stagnate under the failing legacy fiat credit system.
