I had heard a lot of hype for these Fiskers splitting malls, it has not disappointed. That thing is a beast, and swinging that 8 lb maul is a real workout, it's almost too much for me, but it blasts right through this knotty wood. I might have to get the 6 lb one also. I'm definitely retiring my old maul.
