We actually like below ground tubers, well cooked mushrooms, raw carrots, and white rice.

Compared with carnivore folks, the #bioenergetic community is more careful to balance the phosphorus and methionone in muscle meats with calcium (via diary) and glycine (via gelatin/collagen).

Lot's of similarities, tho: especially valuing whole animal foods.

Yep, went through a carnivore period where I was eating a lot of ribeye and top sirloin steaks. These days I'd much rather throw a chuck roast in the slow cooker. Kind of funny that the cuts with more connective tissue that are better for you, are actually cheaper.

Potatoes, sweet potatoes, and rice are daily for me.

Need to eat more raw carrots.

The mushrooms just take way too long to prepare for me.

I was able to find organic white button mushrooms already sliced; I throw them as in in a very tall stock pot with water and salt and boil for 3 hours.

It's basically 2 movements: throw, boil. I don't blend them. Just chew a big handful after each meal.

I do that every other week. Convenience over perfection.
