I do wonder if there will ever be a reemergence of new brand of Luddites who refuse to go along with AI-fueled tech. I definitely feel like I’m on the short side of the debate. Even Apple is going all in. It’s not good.

All I see is the potential for mediocrity. The biggest threat to being great isn’t bad, it’s being very good. If AI can achieve very good, but not great, many will settle for very good and never achieve greatness.

I agree with this completely. I’ll be a Luddite. Most of the “productivity enhancements” I see being touted are to save time on activities that shouldn’t be done anyway. Why the fuck would I want a summary to an email I wasn’t going to read anyway?

And then add in the insane privacy risks 😭
