Got a good guide to setup my own node?

I have already generated several permissions in Lightning Node Connect, but when I try to generate the Custodial Account permission, as you explained in the video, I get proxy and macaroon error warnings.

Could this be because my node is tor only?

Hmmm that's a good question! Didn't get to test it on mynode yet

When you need advice for how to figure out a new Bitcoin technology, do you just watch your own video on it?

Of course he does we all need repetition. When you study something for a day straight it’s clear, but you usually have to revisit it a month or two later if you haven’t been messing with it. I know Info back and rewatch sessions a lot

Haha tbh from time to time I'll go back to something I haven't tried in a while and think "how the hell did I do this again?"

Handy to have video records to refer to 😂

Is that why you do all these videos!? lol

Can I use an old MacBook to run a start 9 server. Preferably without loading Linux or a virtual machine?

So keen to setup my own node. Will be watching this in the studio tomorrow. 🧡🙏🏻

Unfortunately Voltage doesn’t support the local version of Lightning Terminal connect but great guide overall.

This could be for me... 😀 The!

Thanks, saved to watch soon. Been wanting to set this up.

Do you know why I can’t move away the last 100 Sats from that created „Custodial Account“?

For example I added 1000 Sats on that Custodial Account when created. Then I only can send exactly 900 Sats from that account.

Tried it with different starting balances. Resulting always in 100 Sats left, that i could not send.

Get an error message saying that I don’t have enough balance. 🤔

Thanks for the great tutorial 👍
