I work with a kid who is fresh out of college w/ an economics degree.

Believes the following

Inflation is good - ideally 5%

Hyperinflation is better than deflation

Fiat is the superior currency even to a gold or asset backed currency.

NGMI

Most of those are good if you are part of or directly benefit from the state apparatus like a cantillionaire.

They are indisputably bad if you are a subject/slave of the state as most people are.
