I know very well how to operate OBS, that is not the problem here

I am looking for an alternative that’s intuitive and simple enough, that won’t need a tutorial video for the casual user

I’m with you. OBS is the ugly, 40 year old Swiss Army knife in your grandfather’s attic. Sure, it can theoretically do anything you need, but it’s going to take you half a day to figure out what’s in there.

I love having all the bells and whistles and options galore but I completely understand ease of use, minimalism to focus on what matters most
