Somewhere inside the head of a little kid in the global south is the cure for cancer, the cure for aids, the solution to safe and efficient space travel, but it shall never see the light of day for that kid will never be able to pursue his true interests, not get a proper education, his country will never have a space/medical research program.

I wish I can change this. I see Benevolent Capitalism as the way to change this. Altruism is great but the law of conservation of energy means your reserves will go to zero. I appreciate and applaud it but it worries me. Many good people out there and I am thankful BUT also aware of the realities. Some have larger reserves others smaller reserves, for those of us with smaller reserves the impact of altruism becomes negligible.

This..in part...is why we 'Bitcoin.' -- There is hope.

Indeed. I hope. I have gone all in. Which has been tough because it meant selling all my real estate (final 1 on sale now). And of course I still have expenses.

Just wracking my brains for sat generating opportunities that also contribute to making the ecosystem. Bitcoin lightning Based commerce is great but my capital will not cover development. Lightning Based ridesharing (uber), lighting Based e-commerce that leverages existing logistical infra, I have many ideas but need co founders/mentors. I live barebones as it is. Time On earth is limited so cannot build everything myself. Business needs to generate profit to work. Adam Smith etc.
