Am I reading this right, I have mined just over a million sats? #btc #bitcoin
Discussion
No.
This must be a joke. Or some sort of estimate. It’s got more decimals than even a lightning payment could support.
Fractional sats
Very fractional. Unenforceably fractional :)
Sorry I asked…
It's a little bit over 1 Satoshi. I don't know how it's dividing it further than that. How are you mining it?
Some app off of the AppStore. I thought it looked a bit off. One bitcoin is supposed be 100 million sats I think and this has way too many 0’s, but I don’t really know any more than that.
Thank you for offering a but more than just a “no”. 😁
Yeah, 1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats.
Or, 0.00000001 BTC = 1 sat.
I think the world has largely moved beyond whole BTC and we should just start saying "1,000 sats" or whatever.
Thank you for that very helpful information. 😊
I have a hard time concentrating on reading the plethora of resources on bitcoin and am just trying to get a couple cheat sheet answers if you will. The basics, then I can slowly learn from that.
Your answer is helpful, because now I have confirmation on how to read this. I appreciate it, thank you.
that’s 1.038119 sats
Thank you. Yeah, I just noticed they have a format option. I am now using 8 decimals sats. Thank you for the response.
I knew it had to be too good to be true.
This app offers several plans, to boost mining time and sats but I’m not sure it’s worth it. They have plans that range from $4.99 to $399.99 at 10.68 Th/s
Current hash price is around $0.05 TH/s. You need 10x BTC price to break-even your investment.
