What do people think about opendimes? God, they look so cool!

It seems counter intuitive to me to put your corn at greater risk by putting it on an opendime, and correct me if I am wrong, but if the dime gets destroyed your corn is gone?

Has anyone ever used one before and can share their experience with them ?

I think tiny opendime earrings would look hot on a chick.

I love them! I think they’re an amazing concept. I use it to gift kids/grads with Bitcoin.

It’s easy for me to give it to them and their parents tend to feel good knowing their kids have sats. It’s also really cute watching kids ask for more sats instead of toys or fiat. It also kinda forces their parents to do some research themselves.

Hey if it's child-proof , what the hell am I worried about?

When you are gifted an opendime , do people usually redeem it immediately , or do they hold on to the dime?

Depends on the person. I wouldn’t say child proof but I’d say “interest kids”. I always explain to them that because of scarcity it’ll be worth more when they’re grownup than it is now. So they think of it like a game… they’re tryna get as many as they can before their 18.

I’ve also seen people take the coins off for fiat reasons. Different strokes for different folks I guess
