People need to stop having hero’s. You’re a grown man. Be your own hero.
People who have heroes are still children. Slaying your heroes are part of the hero's journey.

People who have children and grow them well, are heroes
Most people who have children don't spend their lives seeking purpose, because their children give them purpose. There is no greater purpose than securing the future of your species.
Growing them well is the key point.
