A “mint” in Cashu.me refers to a server that issues and redeems ecash tokens, acting as a custodian for Lightning payments. If you see “you haven’t joined a mint,” it means you haven’t connected to a specific mint yet, so you can’t send, receive, or store ecash until you do.
