that's debatable; twitter is a concept, note is a very generic term whereas if you think "tweet" it becomes immediately clear what you're referring to.
How long would it take for people to associate that word with nostr and not X?
OK, it's way too late, but perhas someone should have thought of "nost".
I used to advocate for it, thought I was very clever, but it did not survive.
