I have always seen mainstream media reporting that Bitcoin’s annual electricity consumption exceeds that of more than 100 countries in the world. The data for 2021 is that Bitcoin’s annual electricity consumption is about 121.38 billion kwh.

This is the basic value of Bitcoin. Since the U.S. dollar left the gold standard, the cost and consumption of maintaining the status of international currency is hundreds of times more than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not a gold standard, Bitcoin is an electricity standard, code is law.

Is Bitcoin's energy use singled out by the moral high grounders or do they also study and report on other industries?

I have not yet heard anything like...

If stuffed teddy bears were a country, they would be in the top 30 energy users worldwide.

🤣🤙⚡️

bitcoin is perfectly encrypted energy and money is energy, gold was good money but bitcoin is way better

Yes, Bitcoin is a trust built on energy and dispersed around the world.

Whatcha gonna do when the power goes out retard

Value = Energy.

Value is energy at rest.

We place value on the things which take the most energy/time to produce.

We exchange our energy/time for value.

We exchange our value for the energy/time of others.

We like to store value in Bitcoin 🤙
