That's a bold statement😳. I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying because there are of course, advantages (Very few) but the risks (There are lots). Self custody has it's risks too though.

Self custody has a little to no risks. If you know what you’re doing.

No, I don't mean custodial wallets. I mean holding Bitcoin in a communal wallet, like a trust, savings vehicle, or a company.

A church wallet would be another one.
