Think you'll enjoy his historic overview/weaving of the so called Axial revolution. New concept to me

Yes, I'd never heard of that either🧐.

i never heard of it before but i also had the same idea. siddhartha guatama in india, chuang tzu in china, (i think also Jesus should be in there), and i think Zoroaster, maybe, and there was other ones too. all within a ~500 year period

"academics" question such theories on the basis of what records we have of documents from those times, and the reason they question it is because so much of the history, and the texts, were deliberately burned and mutilated like what the catholic church did to the biblical texts, which were a far more extensive collection and they literally tried to make enoch disappear.

convenient for the modern ruling class to not have their dirty laundry aired, if you ask me, about their predecessors against whom ALL of these religions were an insurrection.

Yeah, such figures are listed.

My vague understanding is that there was dark ages during this time, and fragmentation and collapse of the dominant structures led to building a new framework of the world. I can't do it much more justice than that. Interestingly, he mentioned there are texts/writings from the times before, yet we never read or have interest in them, because they're so disconnected from our way of reasoning today. It's hard to really imagine the mindset of a person prior to the times after, but he characterized it partly as an emphasis on power. Gods were powerful, not moral, and men who were very powerful (pharaohs) were perhaps literal gods etc.

interesting to think about, and I hope to learn more

yeah, you should check out UnchartedX guy on youtube. one of his pods that sorta summarizes a lot of the various anomalous stoneworking artifacts, like the slabs of calcite in the temple of Karnak but most especially the obviously machine carved high precision granite vases... but at least in one of them i saw, he discusses some ~5000 year old papyruses that talk about how prior to the early predynastic egypt, there was a "race of gods" whose feats of technology were magical to the authors, and that they left all of this stuff behind. the iron age humans from the nearby areas wandered in because it was no longer populated and tried to maintain the legacy of their system and repaired the eventual decay of some of the structures, attempted to replicate the vases with alabaster, very poorly, and so on, and those remnants of the former owners of the land became revered artifacts.

and that's just the egyptians talking about it. at least dozens of other examples can be found of ancient peoples reporting such a race of gods across the world. the south americans, notably, also, such that after the (in this case, evil "gods") they were using boards to elongate the heads of their babies to resemble these former rulers. american indian tribes especially have stories related to strange people showing up, looking a bit weird, bringing warnings and advice about how to survive the impending disaster, with location specific advices. all who ignored it perished.

They are on his Medium page, they are WELL worth checking out. Particularly the essays about the Nephelim with regards to pre-history but pretty much all of his papers are an intriguing read.

followed and opened the blog to follow up.

so glad to not be alone with original, as yet incomplete and untested theories.
