sorry for my ignorance, but at startup I see lnd logs and a lot of connections enstablished even when I don't have open channels. Is it just neutrino syncing or is there something that could be rethinked to offer a better experience (less computational waste and less ip leaks) to on-chain-only users?

If you want to disable all the graph syncing, submit a PR we’ll consider it, but there’s not enough demand for us to justify working on it.

I understand your position and recognize its value.

I'm just saying that with all the on-chain features it is implementing, zeus could become a full-stack bitcoin software just with few design choice, not only a "lightning wallet".
